Scribe RX came to us wanting to expand their web presence and develop a simple, easy-to-use clinical management solution that could help practitioners improve the quality of patient care they were able to provide.
We spent a lot of time researching to better understand clinical management and the challenges physicians face. To differentiate ourselves in an already competitive market, we knew that we needed to be strategic. The core to this strategy was defining a desirable role for the product and how it would meet the needs of physicians and help to deliver our client's objectives. The solution had to have a measurable impact that, in turn, would enable practitioners to improve patient care, save time and money, and make clinical operations more effective and efficient. We opted for a lean approach, which emphasized rapid sketching, paper prototyping, user feedback and design mockups. This approach helped to solidify team-wide alignment on users needs and the design direction.
The new ePrescribe feature we created allows current subscribers who previously used paper prescriptions a significantly safer, more efficient way of prescribing medications and an easy-to-use clinical management portal.
I was an integral part of the pitch team and was responsible for the experience strategy and design of the iOS app and website. I spearheaded the UX work, producing all major deliverables and presenting these to the client.
